Super moon

Post by AaronH on Sat Aug 09, 2014 4:41 pm

Hi guys,

for the benefit of everyone, can someone suggest some camera settings to take an epic picture of the upcoming supermoon, maybe we could post them up here and get some from different parts of the world.
Cheers

Derek directed me here when I tried my first lunar shots
 Arrow  http://photographylife.com/how-to-photograph-moon

*  use a tripod or somewhere stable.
*  if you don't have remote trigger options then set the timer to take the shot so there's no camera shake when you release the button
*  have a play with your shutter speeds, probably only one or two steps either way from 1/100

Have fun   Laughing

the naughty clouds came in early and spoiled the nice views  Sad
managed a couple of quick handheld shots at NAS, this was the best of them cropped fairly tightly
